Tuesday Torture – Workout 4/27/10
Well today was torture day and my compliments to Mike who not only enjoyed my pain thoroughly, but took too much pride in my decimation. I did my workout in my New Balance 7500′s, but noticed they were too tight, so I am going to have to try something different. Below was my workout for today. I looked back at what I used to do and to be honest, even though I was doing twice as much last year, these workouts seem to be doing sooo much at one time.
I started off with a warm-up with a 6 lb medicine ball (squat twist rotations)
40 lunges across the room
Chest presses with bands out 10 feet (20 presses)
40 lunges across the room
Chest presses with bands out 10 feet (20 presses)
Rest 60 seconds
Ball Squats (20 reps)
Backward Row with band (Out 14 feet)
Ball Squats with dumbbell press (20 reps)
Backward Row with band (Out 14 feet)
Rest 60 seconds
Squatted Monster Walk (Large band – 5 reps)
Squat and press with dumbbell (20 reps)
Squatted Monster Walk (Large band – 5 reps)
Squat and press with dumbbell (20 reps)
Faint and die
So that was my morning… I truly thought I would then run another mile after this and then decided that I was unable to move any further.

It is great to see these workout updates again. I hope you start doing the WEEKLY weight updates too, whether you lose that week or not. Those weigh ins became sporadic there for a while. I enjoyed checking on Wednesday to see how much progress you were making.

Nice and interesting workout! I am eager to read about the next one. One day at the gym I put my 13 year old on a dome-side-down bosu ball…then I stood on one..and we played catch with a medicine ball. That was fun. Then, it became a game of who could knock the other person off first. Fun to keep it diverse and different!
